TEACHERS' RETIREMENT MASS AND RECEPTION - Thursday, June 14, 2012

This year Edmonton Catholic Teachers' Local will honour its retiring teachers with a Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church at 6pm followed by a cocktail reception in the Empire Ballroom at the Hotel MacDonald. Invitations have been sent out to all retirees whose names were received at the Local office.  Additional guests may purchase a $35 ticket by sending a cheque to the Local office: Room 402, 11010-142 Street, Edmonton, AB  T5N 2R1.

LOCAL SCHOLARSHIPS

Your Edmonton Catholic Teachers' Local is pleased to offer 10 scholarships ($1000 each) to grade 12 students attending a post-secondary institution in the fall.  To access an application please click:

BY-ELECTION INFORMATION

The by-election timeline for the position of second Vice President has been approved as follows:

April 18     Nominations open
May 2      Nominations close at 4pm
May 8      Speeches from candidates will be heard at this evening's Council meeting
May 9      Ballots sent out to schools/sites
May 10    Voting to take place from now until May 16
May 16    5pm deadline for the return of ballots to the Local office, Room 402, Barnett House
